About a year ago, I wasn’t sure where to find my niche since I am a stay at home mom. Having a Visual Communications degree from Fashion Institute Design and Merchandising, Los Angeles campus (FIDM) and combination experiences working in the Merchandising department for retail stores many years; I’ve always been good with colors, design, and aesthetics. I also have worked on several fashion shows, wardrobe department for theater and commercial works, and print. I could never forget my passion on colors. After searching around on the internet, I discovered a phenomenal on nail art and swatches.
After seeing so many awesome nail art manicures, I was reminded how I used to love painting my nails since I was 7 years old. It was a cute bottle of purple glitter. I took it with me to school and showed it off to teachers and friends. I would carry it with me everywhere and reapplied as it needed. That was even before I knew about base and top coats.
Upon finding about subscription boxes services, I learned about Julep. It was my first time trying their polish. I got so excited to get some new colors and attempted doing some dotting nail art. I know it was so simple but I remembered how excited I had gotten to accomplish it.

Upon joining in some closed groups on Facebook to learn more in depth of Nail Art Culture. Wow, I learned so much from many wonderful ladies and bloggers. I practiced with my skills development and tried to get better.
Now, after one year later, here are my first three favorites nail art that I hand painted and got well received.
Searching so many swatches online before making some indie polishes purchases have provided some quiet challenging. People have different tastes and ideas in colors that make sellers to only use so much lighting to show holos; yet, holos does change base colors. Majority of time, I would have liked seeing base colors without holos. On March 2014, I founded a closed group called Nail Polish Swatches on Facebook so ladies can come and check out unfiltered and accurate swatches.
