Hi all! I know it’s Friday but I am going to do Throwback Thursday anyway. It is called Embellished Nails.
I am trying to get better at being more consistent on the dates when I post. It’s hard to coordinate the work between my shops and my blogs and get everything done in a timely manner. It seems something has to give all the time. Maybe I just need plan less. As time goes by, my stores get busier and busier, maybe I’ll have to consider hiring somebody. Anyway, on with the post.
This nail design I did for you today is a modification of a design that I did for one of my Nail Art Boxes a few years back. Then, I used brown instead of black, I didn’t use matte topcoat and there were stripes on two of the fingers. So it is somewhat inspired by it. I’ll link a picture so you can see the original design.
Altogether, the effect is quite becoming. I am very into girly nails and the bow just sets it off!
The polish that I used over again is Julep Maven‘s Janae, the off-black. I am surprised at how well it went on. Julep Maven polishes usually go bad fasts and I have to doctor them and play with them a lot to get them back into shape if it’s been a while since I’ve use them. Maybe I have just had bad experiences with the few that I have. I don’t have many Julep Maven polishes.
Let’s take a look at the design that I did:
