Hi all! I’m sorry I haven’t written for a few days. This is has been an extremely busy week for me.
I decided I’m going to Polish Con in Chicago in the fall and I’m trying to get all of the stuff together. I have only done one other show and I have to replace some of the things from that. For instance, I have to get new tablecloths and more display racks for my polish. I’m really excited about this, but it’s still far away, so I will have to keep my excitement down for a little while longer.
As for the Nail Art that I’m doing today I am calling it Pink Rosebuds because, well, that’s what they are.
I had a difficult time with my brush being too thick to make the lines as tiny as I wanted them. I think I will have to get a new brush or cut down the one I have. I’m afraid of cutting it too small though. It’s such tiny work.
This was inspired by several pictures on Pinterest. It is very popular right now to paint small, thin, wispy flowers on a plain background, usually white. But I wanted to do something different, so I chose green. I’ll have to try again when I get a smaller brush.
Let’s take a look at what I did:
